- The filter self- rescuer POG-8M is designed to provide respiratory protection against carbon monoxide gas for a period of 60 minutes.
- Lightweight design
- Small dimensions
- POG-8M unit complies with EN 404:1993, class FSR 1 A
- Operation period- to 3 years (after the unit was introduced into service)
APPLICATION
Filter self-rescuer is a respiratory protective device designed for personal escape. The device protects the user against carbon monoxide during withdrawal from the endangered underground mine compartments or mine areas with spreading fire.
Filter self-rescuer protects the user effectively against carbon monoxide when:
- oxygen content in the inhaled air is not lower than 17% by vol
- carbon monoxide content in the inhaled air is not greater than 1.5 % by vol
- carbon dioxide content in the inhaled air is not greater than 2.0 % by vol.
- content of hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, nitric oxide do not exceed 0.05% by vol
