The LG-3 Cap Lamp is designed for miner's individual illumination of his workplace. TheCap Lamp is adapted for a service-free charging; it is handy in usage and provides right illumination in most diversified working situations.

STRUCTURE
The LG-3 Cap Lamp consists of two units:
- battery,
- cover with head.
All the components of lamp housing are made of plastics.
BATTERY
The battery of the LG-3 Cap Lamp is onade of three KCMS 13,5 L type batteries (secondary cells) of 1,2 V, 13,5 Ah, being in conformity of the IEC 622+A. Alkaline accumulators: nickel-cadmium rectangulartightly-enclosed single-cells. Sytandard requipments. The batteries are manufactured on a base of sintered nickel electrodes soaked with active materials. The whole is placed in a battery block.
COVER WITH HEAD
a) Cover
The cover is made of plastics. Its respectively profiled shapeenables to install and interconnect the fuse and a double-core cab-tyre lead for feeding the bulb/bulbs seated in the lamp head. In a Lamp of a miner's location transmitter version, at an inner side of the cover, there is installed a transmitter of the GLON-W2 or LOK-W2 type. The cover is electrically connected with the battery by means of two flexible conductors enaded with eyelet terminals. The cover put on its battery scrawed together with two hexagonal socked-head scrwes.
There are following types of the covers:
1. "N" Cover a standard design
2. "GLON W2" Cover a lamp cover with the GLON-W2 miner's location transmitter (location transmitter and electronic bulb switch)
3. "LOK-W2" Cover a lamp cover with the LOK-W2 miner's location transmitter (location transmitter and electronic bulb switch)
b) Lamp Head
The lamp head comprises a body furnished inside with a bulb, reflecting element, means facilitating the self-charging, and the bulb switch. The lamp glass is fixed with reflector nut secured against unserewing with a special screw. The lamp head is provided with a hanger fixing the lamp head to a helmet.
There are following types of lamp heads:
1. "Z" type Lamp Head with one double-filament bulb (3,6 V, 1/0,5 A)
2. "HD" type Lamp Head with two halogen bulbs (3,6V/1A & 4V/0,85A)
3. "HS" type Lamp Head with one halogen bulb (3,6V/1A (excluding underground mining))
