Compressed air escape apparatus AP-E/1-5 and AP-E/1-10 comply with the standard EN 402

The apparatus AP-E/1-5 and AP-E/1-10 are designed for making short entries to reconnoiter the hazardous area or to escape from danger zones

The apparatus are manufactured in two versions: with the cylinder of 2 dm 3 and with the cylinder of 1 dm 3
- The apparatus is designed to be used with the full face mask eg. MT-848 "JADZIA"
- The operational duration is of 10 minutes (for the cylinder 2 dm 3 ),
or 6 minutes (the cylinder 1dm 3 )
Application:
The compressed air escape apparatus AP-E/1-5 and AP-E/1-10 supply the breathing air under the facepiece of the full face mask. The apparatus fitted with the full face mask MT 848 or the panoramic full face mask 3S "AUER" give its user complete respiratory protection.
The escape apparatus AP-E/1-5 and AP-E/1-10 are designed for chemical industry to withdraw from hazardous areas, whereas for industry and fire- fighting to reconnoiter the danger zones.
Using in acid vapors may cause faulty operation or damage the unit.
Design :
Compressed escape apparatus comprises of the following assemblies:
- Belt with braces (the apparatus is attached to this belt)
- Air cylinder of the capacity of 1 dm 3 or 2 dm 3 (also attached to the belt )
- Pressure reducer
- Reduced pressure duct
- Demand valve
- Panoramic full face mask
