Filter- ventilation device UFWS-200

Application

Filter- ventilation device UFWS-200 supplies air to compartments requiring ventilation. This device is also adapted for air filtration from chemical, radioactive and bacteriological pollution ( in the form of vapors, gas and aerosols). Filter- ventilation device UFWS-200 is designed to be assembled in the Armored Modular Vehicle "ROSOMAK". It also can be used in other installations requiring supply of the breathable air.

Principle of operation

The air sucked in by the blowing engine from the air intake is purified from coarse- grained pollutions on the cyclones. Then the air directed through the two-way valve to the circulation of pure ventilation or filtration- ventilation. The two-way valve is switched by means of pneumatic cylinder supplied with the compressed air form the installation of the Armored Modular Vehicle. The air directed to the filtration- ventilation goes through the duct in the doors to the combined filter, where it is thoroughly purified on the highly efficient filter and the absorber. Then the air is supplied to the crew cabin.

The overpressure in the cabin as well as the combined filter resistance can be monitored on the display units placed on the control board. The filter- ventilation device is started from the control switchboard which constitutes the equipment of the Armored Modular Vehicle "Rosomak".
