Computer system supervising the stands in the lamp room

  • The supervision & control of the charging stands for the batteries
  • Checkup of the operational use of the cap lamps and filters (optionally)
  • Keeping records and repairs of the cap lamps and the filters (inspection)
  • Possibility to charge or discharge from the level of computer operator

The computer system provides full control of the devices in the lamp room and this involves:

  • Supervision & control of the charging process of the cap lamps batteries
  • Control by the staff of the cap lamps & filters (optionally) operation
  • Keeping records and repairs of the cap lamps and filters (control)

Each charging stand is equipped with its own charger clip which collects the data concerning the battery charging and which facilitates steering of charging process according to an appropriate program or by imposing the states set by the operator.

Operator himself may check from his computer stand the state of each charging stand and arrange the charging or discharging of the battery.

In particular, the following data are being collected:
  • Detecting the presence of the cap lamp
  • Indication whether the battery is charged up, in charging or discharged
  • Actual supply & charging voltage
  • Voltage of the battery when the current is of " 0"
  • Capacity of the battery
  • Time to finish the charging
  • Number of charging cycles of a given battery
  • Detecting the presence of the filter (optionally)

Possibility to set the following parameters manually:

  • Reset of the charger clip (deletion of the data)
  • Charging of the battery
  • Reset of the number of the battery cycles
  • Removal of the default parameters of the charger clip

The module for the checkup of the charging process carries out the following:

  • Visualization of the charging process
  • Steering of the charging process
  • Processing of the register readings of the charger clips to the database
  • Collecting data from the tables eg. the position coordinates of the cap lamp in the lamp room, table of the standard setup of the parameters, identifier of the charger clips, name, cap lamp number, charging unit number (the row)

The charging system protects also the current data and the set mode of operation (charging or discharging) against the power cut. After the power supply has been restored, the charger clips continue the interrupted mode of operation.

The system enables the cooperation with the system of working time registration.

The supervising computer system can control almost all types of cap lamps being now in operation- also those lamps of divers type being in one lamp room and in the same computer network.

Operator from his stand can adjust the operation of the charger clip to each type of the battery and in case of the battery replacement set the new parameters.
